Cadet
Joshua L. Chambers Cadet of the Year For 2010

Cadet Chamber began service on 13 Oct 2008, As a New Recruit and completed all of his Correspondence Courses ahead of schedule with high marks.
Cadet Chambers completed Boot camp 11 July 2009 with Honors, as well as
Completing POLA training 26 Dec 2010 with Honors.
Chambers received the Marksmanship Ribbon, NSCC Commendation Ribbon, SAR Bronze Good Citizenship Medal, Community service Ribbon, Academic Achievement ribbon with Bronze Star and NSCC first and second Year Ribbons, as well as the Good Shipmate Award.

  Cadet of the Year

Chambers is an outstanding Cadet he excels is everything that he sets his mind to, always willing to help out a fellow cadet or anyone that he comes in contact with. Cadet Chambers is a natural leader and always sets the Example for all the cadets in the Division. I am honored to have him in my Command.
Scholastically,
8th grade: Josh competed in the SCISA State Literary Meet and took third place middle school humorous oral interpretations division. His piece was on Uncle Remus.
8th grade: He competed with other members from his school in the SCISA Middle School Quiz Bowl
6th, 7th, 8th. Honor Roll. Member of the Beta Club.
9th grade: Honor Roll. Member of the National Honor Society.
Lettered in Cross Country in the sixth grade.

 

Lettered in Cross Country in the sixth grade.
Member of Northwood’s Academy football program played JV for two years, moved to Varsity during the 2009/2010 season. Then received his letter at the end of the season.
Received the Presidential Fitness Award.
Joshua is part of troop 417 with Boy Scouts. Josh is currently a Life Scout. He is currently working on his Eagle Project.
Currently holds 48 merit badges with several still pending completions.
His dream is to one day go to US Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland, for college.
Then to enlist into the Navy as an officer as a SEAL.
Loves to help others o do their best, while challenging himself to do his best.
