Welcome
Interested parents

Thank you for your interest regarding the U.S. Naval Sea Cadets. The Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a non-profit, nautically oriented, youth training and education organization dedicated to developing the principles of patriotism, good citizenship and self-confidence. We strive to instill in our young people a sense of duty, discipline and respect for self and others.
Training is year round, meeting one weekend a month with extra field trips as opportunities present themselves. These opportunities include visits to ships, military bases, participating in parades, color guards and others. We meet aboard the USS Yorktown, Patriots Point located in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
During the summer, cadets are encouraged to complete a two-week Regional Training Introduction (boot camp) designed similar to the military boot camp. Additional training opportunities include shipboard training, aviation, submarine seminars, Seabees, music, SEAL training, as well as other options. League Cadets are encouraged to complete a one-week boot camp.
